The volunteer work force at Marin General Hospital is comprised of more than 350 women, men and teens, ranging in age from 14 to over 80. Our volunteers have very diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. They range from high school and college students to retirees and employeed professionals.

Teen volunteers often want to explore careers in health care. While working men and women volunteer for the rewards of serving their community. Retirees who want to remain active, add depth and experience to our care giving team.

As a volunteer, your contributions can make an important difference to both patients and their families. Should you choose to work directly with patients, assignments may include work in some of the following areas:
