Robotic-Assisted General Surgical Procedures at Marin General Hospital
Using the state-of-the-art da Vinci® Surgical System, surgeons at Marin General Hospital are performing robotic-assisted surgery for reflux disease, hernia repair, colorectal problems and other general surgical procedures. This advanced minimally invasive surgical (MIS) approach provides most patients several potential benefits over traditional open and conventional laparoscopic surgical approaches, including allowing most patients to return to their work and personal lives sooner.

Marin General Hospital's da Vinci® Surgical System is currently the only robotic surgical system in the North Bay region of Marin, Sonoma and Lake Counties and is one of only a few high-definition 3-D systems in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.
