Labor, Delivery & Recovery
Marin General’s family-centered approach involves the whole family! Spouses and families are welcome to attend the labor and birth in one of the Family Birth Center’s spacious private rooms. Normally, an expectant mother will labor, deliver her baby and recover in the same private room.
Each room is fully equipped with private baths with showers, air conditioning, television, rocking chair, comfortable chairs and tables and a warming table for the newborn baby.
The maternity team includes many highly trained staff members who are available to support and empower families during an extraordinary experience. Team members include registered nurses, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians.
